In 2016, the Bendemeer CWA Hall received some much needed upgrades thanks to a $25,000 grant from the NSW Government's Community Building Partnerships Program. 

The Bendemeer CWA does a lot for the community, including fundraising and gathering donations to support rural women and families in their time of need.

The historic hall has been a Bendemeer mainstay for a very long time and this funding allowed for the installation of a reverse cycle heating and cooling unit to keep the women of Bendemeer CWA comfortable through the heights of summer and winter.
