NATS FAMOUS STEAK SANDWICHES RETURNED ATS AGQUIP

The popular NSW Nationals steak sandwich fundraiser returned at AgQuip agricultural field days near Gunnedah.

Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said the pollies picked up the tongs for a good cause.

“AgQuip is the highlight of the NSW agricultural calendar, and a major boost to the Gunnedah community who benefit from the 100,000 visitors who make their way to the region,” Mr Anderson said.

“It’s an opportunity for our farmers to reconnect, to share ideas, and to stay up to date with the cutting edge of farming technology.

“The event goes hand in hand with the sights and smells of a steak sandwich, with breeders battling it out to be the most popular sandwich of the week.

“This year, the National Party are threw our hats back in the ring, offering our famous steak sandwiches, cooked by Nationals MP’s.”

This year, Mr Anderson was be joined by Federal Leader of the Nationals David Littleproud, State Leader Dugald Saunders as well as Jamie Chaffey, Barnaby Joyce, Ross Cadell, Kevin Hogan, Bridget McKenzie, Dave Layzell, Michael Kemp, Sarah Mitchell, and Scott Barrett.

“It was all for a good cause, helping raise funds for Gunnedah Family Support. 

“The five-star steaks were again been donated by Teys Australia Tamworth, who are proud to continue their involvement in our AgQuip fundraising drive.

“While we're still tallying the funds for the total donation made, I'm pleased to report that we sold out on our delicious steaks.”
