Gunnedah Police Station
Gunnedah's old police station has passed it's used by date. Built in the 1960's, the old station had served the community and the command well over decades, however, local police were now looking to the future and a new station was needed.
Mr Anderson committed $8 million to make this dream a reality with the station being officially opened in December of 2018.
The updated facilities include two new holding cells, a detainee release corridor that links to the local courthouse, General Duty office areas, two large exhibit storage areas and additional parking to accommodate more vehicles including the Traffic and Highway Patrol Command.
