RAINBOW TROUT PRODUCER SEEKS POT OF GOLD AT FINE FOOD AUSTRALIA
Hanging Rock food company Arc-en-Ciel Rainbow Trout joined regional producers at State Parliament this week for a workshop ahead of the Fine Food Australia trade show next month.
This company produces the award winning smoked meats range Nundle Smokehouse and most recently won the Gold Medal for Whole Smoked Trout and the Champion Trout Product at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Competition 2017.
Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson said Arc-en-Ciel Rainbow Trout was one of 16 food producers selected to showcase their products at the Government’s “Flavours of NSW” stand at Fine Food Australia.
“The prestigious trade show attracts more than 30,000 visitors including hundreds of national and overseas buyers each year,” Mr Anderson said.
“This pre-event workshop today will help Arc-en-Ciel Rainbow Trout and the other NSW exhibitors identify and maximise opportunities to secure supply agreements with international and domestic buyers at the exhibition.”
Minister for Trade and Industry, Niall Blair said Fine Food Australia was the largest food industry trade event in Australia and in the Southern Hemisphere.
“It gives local and niche producers like Arc-en-Ciel Rainbow Trout unrivalled access to industry contacts from Australia and from around the world,” Mr Blair said.
“NSW has a global reputation for safe, clean, fresh and delicious food and the State Government’s “Flavours of NSW” stand at Fine Food Australia this year will be a fantastic showcase for some of our state’s best produce.”
Now in its 33rd year, Fine Food Australia takes place at the International Convention Centre in Sydney’s Darling Harbour 11-14 September.
