FREE CONCERTS FOR SENIORS TO SPREAD CHRISTMAS CHEER - ANDERSON
A series of free Christmas concerts in Tamworth is a way of thanking seniors ahead of the festive season, Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson said.
Mr Anderson announced free tickets for the NSW Government’s Christmas Concerts will be available from October 8.
“This is great news for Tamworth seniors who will be able to enjoy an exceptional show this year.
“Tickets are free and only offered to seniors. I encourage all local residents aged 60 years and over to secure their tickets early so they don’t miss out.”
“Seniors give so much to the community and these concerts are a way of showing our appreciation for their contributions.
“Each year the NSW Government tours the Seniors Christmas Concerts to regional areas and this year the star-studded performance will be headlined by Rhonda Burchmore, Nathan Foley and Lorenzo Rositano.
“The concerts are a great opportunity for seniors in Tamworth to celebrate the festive season, make new friends and singalong to some of their favourite tunes,” Mr Anderson concluded.
The Tamworth concerts will be held at Tamworth Capitol Theatre on Thursday December 5, starting at 10:30am and 2pm.
