
The State Electorate of Tamworth encompasses an area stretching from the Mount Kaputar National Park in the north to Ben Halls Gap National Park in the south; and from Tambar Springs in the west to Niangala in the east.
The main townships within the electorate include Barraba, Bendemeer, Boggabri, Breeza, Carroll, Curlewis, Currabubula, Dungowan, Duri, Emerald Hill, Gunnedah, Kelvin, Kootingal, Manilla, Moonbi, Mullaley, Nundle, Somerton, Tambar Springs, Tamworth and Werris Creek.
