APPLICATIONS INVITED FOR GRANTS OF UP TO $250,000 FOR JOINT R&D PROJECTS
Member for Tamworth, Kevin Anderson has encouraged innovative businesses and organisations to apply for NSW Government grants of up to $250,000 under the 'NSW-Israel R&D Tech Innovation Program’.
Mr Anderson said applications for the second round of the program are now open.
“The NSW-Israel R&D Tech Innovation Program aims to connect innovative organisations from NSW and Israel, encouraging collaboration in technology development that promotes economic growth and job creation,” Mr Anderson said.
“Israel and NSW are respected innovation leaders and well placed to learn from each other through collaboration on new and innovative projects.
“The current focus of the program is in areas of cyber security, water management and agri-technology, however applications for projects across all sectors will be considered.
“I strongly encourage all businesses and organisations to take advantage of the opportunity for financial support and to partner with an international company in developing innovative products.
“The NSW Government and Israel Innovation Authority will assist in connecting organisations in NSW, to those in Israel with complementary skills and objectives.”
Applications for the Program will close on 7 June and successful grant applicants will be announced in November.
The NSW-Israel R&D Tech Innovation Program follows an agreement between the NSW Government and the State of Israel to cooperate on R&D and technical innovation.
