$7,065 FOR GUNNEDAH SERVICES AND BOWLING CLUB
Member for Tamworth Kevin Anderson has announced that the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club will be better equipped to transport their members and the community thanks to a $7,065 grant.
Mr Anderson said the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club were a successful applicant in the popular Community Building Partnership Program.
“This grant will assist the club in purchasing a 14 seat bus to enable members of the community with transport facilities to attend Club activities,” Mr Anderson said.
Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club Manager Mark Bannerman said that they were happy to hear that they had received the grant.
“Our buses are used by many different community groups and also as a courtesy service to our patrons.
“We have a lot of requests from community organisations to use our existing bus, so it’s great that we now have a new bus to assist them with,” Mr Bannerman said.
Mr Anderson said he knows that the Members of the club will be very happy with the announcement.
“It is always a pleasure to be able to support such fantastic community organisations such as the Gunnedah Services and Bowling Club,” Mr Anderson said.
